It is an old and classic hotel. Gives more space in the room than "budget hotels". Specious lobby area, nice restaurant with a view to a temple, friendly staff and an actual room key! :) There is a smoking area right outside of the hotel, which is a big problem for smokers in Japan. It was a nice gesture that they upgraded my room.

Everything was great. The hotel is located a short bus ride from the train station, the checkin was flexible and smooth. Finally, the room we were given was just huge a so chique with a nice view of the city. If we are ever back in Kanazawa we will come back here for sure.

They upgraded my room without me asking for it, I just checked in and was informed that I had a bigger room. The room is very comfortable and has everything you need, the hotel is beautiful, the location is great and the breakfast was amazing too. The staff is suuuuper nice! I'm glad I stayed here!

I loved this hotel. It was quite old fashioned in places - brown wood furniture and the lobby/ shops but it is impeccably clean and the staff really kind and helpful. It’s location is fabulous with the castle across the road and independent shops and dining options behind along the canal frequented by locals.

The interior looks very nice and professional, the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, and they had even put up our home country's flag specifically for our visit which was such a kind gesture. Amazing place, would stay again.

Our room was spacious. looked like a suite, with a nice view. Thought the room was unusually big for a hotel room in Japan. Breakfast was also great!

Very helpful, accommodating, assisting with certain destination inquiries. Willing to upgrade our room. Value of hotel is very good. Hotel is not the most modern in terms of room electronics etc but spacious, quiet, well located with easy walking near a main street.

Great hotel in a great location. You could find everything you need in the room. Friendly staff and good location close by all touristic attractions. The staff placed the flag of our country where we come from in the lobby. Very nice gesture ☺️

The room and furniture are quite dated. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to attractions.
